Nid products are designed with timelessness and longevity in mind. The way fabrics are cared for affects the object's life.
The following tips are our recommendations to wash the products.
Washing Machine
Wash temperature 30 degrees using gentle cycle. Gentle spin. Do not wring.
Only use eco detergents; commercial detergents will fade the colour of fabrics, printing and embroidery.
Wash the embroidered items in a laundry bag to avoid damaging the embroidery.
Drying
Do not put in dryer. Dry on a flat surface in the shade.
Stains
For persistent stains, gently wash by hand using natural soap (Aleppo soap or Savon de Marseille) before washing the fabrics in the washing machine. Refrain from using bleach as it will damage the fabric and craft.
Ironing
Iron your linen while it is still damp, using a hot iron and full steam.
Iron all fabrics on the back side and place a terry towel to avoid flattening the embroidery and/or damaging the printing.
